We are bringing our 1 year old son for the first time. Are there rides that he will be able to get on?

    Hi Bethany,

The beauty of a Walt Disney World vacation is that there's something for everyone in the family, regardless of their ages. Many of the rides and attractions are appropriate for your little guy. As long as a ride does not have a height restriction -- and there are more than 80 that don't have a restriction -- he can accompany you.

The available rides include classics such as Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Peter Pan's Flight  and "it's a small world." He can see the animals on Kilimanjaro Safaris; go under the sea on The Voyage of the Little Mermaid; or travel through time on Spaceship Earth.

You will find a complete list of appropriate attractions, plus other tips for traveling with a small Disney fan in this guide for preschoolers and little ones. And make sure you take advantage of the Baby Care Centers in each park, which offer a quiet place to change, feed or relax with your son.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Bethany. Please let us know if you have any more questions. Most of us have traveled to Walt Disney World with little ones, so we're happy to share our experiences. Enjoy!
