Hi, we are bringing our 6 and 4 year old for 10 nights next December and wanted to know which disney resort/hotel you would recommend? We would prefere to have a suite or 2 hotel rooms. We want to kids to feel wow disney! Thankyou for your help!

    Hey Joanna,

There are many hotels to choose from on the Walt Disney World Property. The only Disney hotels that have an obvious Disney theme are the Value Resorts. If you really want the little ones to feel the "wow" from their first moments at Disney, I would suggest the All Star Movies Resort.(ASM) This resort is the one that the little kids just adore. They can see their larger than life Disney Characters right outside their hotel window. This hotel is themed with 101 Dalmatians, Toy Story, Fantasia, Mighty Ducks, Lady and the Tramp and Herbie the Love Bug The pictures you have seen are wonderful, but there is nothing like seeing the large icons in real life. They are huge!!!

ASM offers a suite that is about 520 sq.ft and sleeps six. You can also get two adjoining rooms, or if budget is a factor you can get away with one room. Also keep in mind that the Value Resorts are the lowest priced hotels on the property. The rooms are small but functional.  Each have 2 full size beds, (not queen) and are themed according to the building in which you are staying. ASM has two themed swimming pools and a kiddie pool. There is a food court, play ground, laundry facilities and a store with groceries. The amenities are limited but I have found the rooms to be adequate, especially for the price. With that info in mind its a matter of your preference. Side Note: Let your kids watch the above named movies just before vacation for even more of the "wow" factor.

I hope this info helps. Have a magical vacation!
