We are bringing our 7 year old grandson to WDW Aug 23. Want to book a good birthday celebration for an 8 year old. Suggestions please and how do I book it? Thanks

My son, let's call him Mr. 8 suggests:

Send him on the pirate cruise at the Grand Floridian and then go to Chef Mickey's for dinner.

I actually think that is a GREAT idea.

The Pirate Adventure cruise is lots of fun for children ages 4-12. You may call 407-WDW-DINE to book this fun voyage. In June, I paid $31.95 for my young pirate. Kids get lunch, pirate bandannas with Mickey ears and return with pirate treasure to share.

Chef Mickey's is a super place to eat. Mickey really knows how to cook and how to throw a party! Wave your napkins high - it's time to celebrate!
