We are bringing our 2 year old grandson to the parks this summer but only have 2 days. Which 2 parks would be best for a child this age to enjoy?

    Hi Wanda!

What an amazing treat for your grandson - a trip to Walt Disney World Resort!

In my opinion, the very best park to visit with a little one is Magic Kingdom Park. It truly is a magical experience to see the park through their eyes - from the first time they see Cinderella Castle to their first ride through It's a Small World or Peter Pan's Flight. The majority of Magic Kingdom attractions were designed with little ones in mind, and you'll find so much you can do together as a family!

My second park choice would be Disney's Animal Kingdom, because, what two year old isn't fascinated with animals? There's so much to see and do at Animal Kingdom. Little ones love Kilimanjaro Safaris, where they can see giraffes, zebras, and more in their natural habitats. Quick tip: The ride can get a little bumpy, so make sure you have a solid grip on your grandson in your lap. He'll also love the music and bright colors at Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: The Musical.

On May 27th, a new section will be opening in Animal Kingdom: Pandora - The World of Avatar. Na'vi River Journey is one of the two new featured rides Guests will be able to enjoy, and it sounds like it will be incredible! You also won't want to miss Rivers of Light, Animal Kingdom's new nighttime show. It's beautiful!

I hope these suggestions are helpful in your planning. No matter what, you're sure to make magical memories to last a lifetime with your little buddy.  - Diane W.
