We will be bringing our 6 year old grand daughter in April, what would you suggest as far as meeting the princesses and how do I go about it?

    Greetings Patricia!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It is wonderful to hear you will be enjoying a "Grand Adventure" to the Walt Disney World Resort this spring. While I love the time with my children, they really enjoy the magic when my parents join us.

There are plenty of places to meet the princesses in the parks, however, one of our most cherished ways to spend time with our favorite Disney royalty is during a Character Dining Experience. Not only do you get a little extra time with the popular princesses, but you feel like royalty yourself dining in the regal locations. Top on my list is Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot's World Showcase. This medieval castle sets the stage for a Storybook Dining feast. Usually you will be joined by Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Princess Aurora, Ariel and Mary Poppins. Another "princess must-do" is Cinderella's Royal Table. Dining inside the famed Cinderella Castle is truly a one-of-a-kind experience and your princess will be sure to feel special as she climbs the spiral staircase to the enchanted dining room. At either location, there are also several special celebration enhancements you can add to your meal to make her experience completely unforgettable.

You'll want to make reservations as soon as possible as these choices are very popular and will fill up quickly. I wish you a magical vacation, Patricia. If there is anything else I am able to assist you with, please let me know.

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Colorado

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
