Hi. We will be bringing our 3 and 5 year old girls in June for the first time. We purchased the Dining Plan. However, they are not big eaters. Are they able to share a meal using the quick service and sit down meals if they want?

Hi Lynsey!  I am so incredibly excited for you!  How absolutely magical to be planning their first trips! It will be a vacation to remember that's for sure!

When you purchase the dining plan, it is automatically included for each person in your party age 3 and older, so both of your daughters will have meals of their own.  When my son was younger, I worried that he would never finish his meals, but he would always surprise me!  I don't know if it was the excitement, the physical exertion, or just the tastiness, but he always seemed to eat more there than he did at home.  I do find however, that the side items you have to choose from with many of the kids meals (usually grapes, carrots, or a cookie) are typically individually wrapped and easy to slip in your bag for a quick snack later.

You can read more about the dining plan under Disney Dining Plan on the Walt Disney World website.

If your schedule permits, I suggest dining at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall for the Princess Storybook Dining.  You will be joined by a few Disney Princesses and some of their friends. You can find details or make reservations online through Disney Dining.

If you have any further questions, or need any other recommendations, I'd love to help!

I know your princesses will have an enchanted adventure! Enjoy your magic trip!
