We are bringing our 4 year old daughter to WDW and the main priority on her list is Cinderella's Castle. Do you recommend doing a character lunch or dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table and what is the difference between the two?

The basic difference between breakfast and lunch is simply the food offerings as well as a slight price difference with lunch costing a bit more.   Dinner has the most noticeable change since only the Fairy Godmother is in attendance, and it is the most costly.  For that reason, I would opt for eating lunch there since I'm certain your daughter wants to visit with the princesses.

Since dining at the castle is probably the most sought after reservation at WDW, you do want to make sure and call 180 days in advance of your first full day at WDW at 7:00 eastern.  In fact, when we've tried for these reservations, both my husband and I made calls.  if we didn't get through for the first day, we'd try again the next day and so on and so forth.  I think we were always lucky with this method.   I've even called when were were about 185 days away to double-check the official first day I could call in case I had read the calendar incorrectly.
