Hi, I am bringing my 5 year old daughter to Disney in October for our very first trip. I am clueless. I am petrified that we may miss so much just because I did not know where to go, which parks have things for her, what I need reservations for...HELP??

You are in for such a wonderful vacation full of magical memories at Walt Disney World. October is such a great time to visit. I would totally go toMickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. This is a Halloween-themed special event that includes guests wearing costumes, trick or treating, special fireworks and the coolest Halloween parade ever. The Party is held on select dates and requires the purchase of an additional event admission ticket. I took my daughters and they had a great time meeting the many of the villains who make a special appearance at this event. You can all dress up and go trick or treating in the Happiest Place on Earth. A great way to start planning for your trip is to order the free Disney Vacation Planning DVD. This great planning tool will assist you in deciding which parks to visit, where to stay and what to eat. I think that the best parks to visit for a five year old girl would be the Magic Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. While at Animal Kingdom make sure to see the Festival of the Lion King. This is a really fun family show that will amaze all of you and have you singing along. Also make sure to give your little princess time to play at the Boneyard, a dinosaur playground for preschoolers and grade school-age kids in the DinoLand U.S.A. You will all have fun as she wanders through a maze, slides down covered slides, and scampers around the cushiony floor where kids can have fun and run free. I hope this assists you in planning a great vacation.
