I will be bringing my 7 and 9 year old children to Fort Wilderness Cabins in December 10. We are wondering where they will be able to use foot powered razor scooters, if anywhere.

    Theresa:

We bring our razors to the fort in our RV--so much smaller to travel with than bikes.

There's no prohibition against scooters, according the fort's orange Safety Precautions Guide, except on the roads and on the Nature Trails and wooded areas. Now, I don't know if the loop roads are what they're talking about as we use ours around our loop, but you certainly can use them on the sidewalks, concrete paths and the paved Exercise Trail to Wilderness Lodge. I'd definitely recommend bringing them to enjoy the outdoors at the fort!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
