I am bringing 2&4 year old boys to WDW for the first time. They are pool junkies-where is best to stay? Is there really a long travel time from Animal Kingdom to Magic Kingdom? Thanks :)

    Hello Carlyn.
You and your little boys must be so excited about planning your very first trip to Walt Disney World Resort.
Like your boys my children are water babies too and love swimming in the fantastically themed Resort pools plus both of the  splashtastic Disney Water Parks Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach.
Although every Disney Resort pool is amazing, my families all time favorite has to be Stormalong Bay which is the exclusive pool shared by Disney's Beach and Yacht Club Resorts.

Walt Disney World Resort covers a vast area which means that there are some reasonable distances to travel between Parks.  I would guesstimate that when using the Disney Transportation Service to get from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Magic Kingdom Park your journey time would be some 40 minutes. My top tip would be to always allow an hour to reach your desired Disney destination.
If I can be of any further help to you in planning your first Walt Disney World Resort vacation, please don't hesitate to come back and ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
