Bringing my 5 year old boy and parents who are in their late 60's. Have 6 day passes with park hopper and dining plan. All dinner reservations made already. A little overwhelmed on what park to do on what day. Will be there Oct 5-12. Any suggestions?

    Hi, Sarah!

I remember feeling overwhelmed my first few trips to WDW; not to worry, though. We've all been there! Let us help!

First, send me another question with your Advanced Dining Reservations. I like to plan our days in the parks around ADRs as much as possible. While the Park Hopper Option is fantastic, you can avoid wasting commute time here and there if you plan your park days according to your dining reservations.

According to the dates you've provided, you'll have some days which do not include the parks. It's a great idea to relax at your resort on the first (or last) day if you are traveling in from, or away to, a great distance. This will allow you to use those park tickets for an entire day, rather than for an abbreviated visit. (Plus, travel is tiring for Guests of all ages. Give yourselves a break and enjoy your resort on those days. Combine those days with a meal at Downtown Disney and / or Disney's BoardWalk, both of which are ticket-less venues, and you'll have a plan which includes some time for excitement as well as relaxation.)

Once you detail your ADRs, Sarah, we can outline how you can best tour the parks with your 6-day Park Hopper Passes. I'd love to help you spend your Dining Plan entitlements, too. Quick Service locations and snacks are so much fun to plan! Bring it on! :-)
