We are bringing my wife's parents in a month, and both aren't doing well- not only is this their 1st time to DW, but may be their last- we are coming for a day (from a cruise)- does DW do anything special for a couple of special people like my in-laws?

Hello, Benjamin!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

You are so sweet!  Your in-laws will simply LOVE their first visit to Walt Disney World and I know that the smiles on their faces will bring so many MAGICAL memories that you will hold with you for a lifetime.

Upon your arrival at any of the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks, head on over to Guest Relations and pick-up a "First Visit" button for them.  Many of the Cast Members will usually welcome people when they see that button.  They will certainly feel welcomed throughout the day.

I highly recommend setting up a dining reservation and preordering a cake in their honor.  You can call (407)827-2253 and a Cast Member will be more than happy to walk you through the process.

There may be other special ways to honor your in-laws and you would need to speak with a Cast Member to see if anything else is possible.  You can send them a letter at the following address:

    Walt Disney World Guest Communications
    P.O. Box 10,400
    Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830

You can also reach them at (407)W-Disney or by EMAIL.

I wish you the best of luck.  May your vacation be MAGICAL, beautiful and filled with laughter.
