My Q is about bringing a video camera into the parks.Do the moms use them or do you find it too much to manage with a camera and everything else? You guys are AWESOME,never knew there was so much to it.Thanks!

We absolutely tour the parks, resorts and restaurants with our digital camera and video camera. Since I’m the shutter bug, I carry the camera. My husband (Sh! A Steven Spielberg wannabe) loves taking the video so he carries that equipment (including extra batteries) in his backpack. He derives great enjoyment from shooting and editing these films. The memories saved are indeed priceless.

I can’t imagine not having our memories recorded. When we return, my husband puts both formats on to DVD. I love being able to watch the photos (usually set to music) while sitting in our living room. I think the video is even more priceless. I’m actually able to see and hear my son at 2 years of age bouncing with Tigger, dancing with Minnie and laughing on Dumbo.

We are going to try to switch our equipment more often though. Since my husband tends to not be in video and I tend to be left out of photos (except when utilizing PhotoPass). Our son now carries his own digital camera and it’s delightful to see the world (including his parents) through his eyes.
