Hi, we are bringing two little ones to Disneyland, first visit, in early March. We want to ensure the best viewing experience we can for the Electrical Parade. Where does it start? We reserved viewing area by Small World. Other tips?

Hello, Stephen! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited that you are taking your little ones on their first Disneyland Resort vacation!

If you have already reserved your spot for the parade by booking a Main Street Electrical Parade On-The-Go Package at Aladdin's Oasis, you are already one step ahead! As you mentioned, the viewing area is by "it's a small world" and typically the parade will start by this area. If there are two parade performances on the night you are visiting, the first parade will typically start by "it's a small world" and the second parade will start in Town Square and end at "it's a small world." For the best viewing options, I suggest arriving early to the preferred viewing area. Folks will usually line up here and wait for a Cast Member to allow them into the area. Make sure you have your vouchers in-hand!

Since you might be waiting a bit in the viewing area before the parade begins, I recommend bringing or buying a snack for your little ones to munch on to keep them occupied. You could also bring a blanket and have one adult stay with the blanket in the viewing area while the other takes the children on an attraction or to meet a character.

I hope you and your family have a fabulous visit to the Disneyland Resort!
