We are bringing our two grandsons to WDW in September. We can save 5% on Disney Gift cards at Sam's Club. Is it possible then to purchase our park admission tickets on the Disney web site with these cards?

Hello Suzanne and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel,

As a "Nana" myself, I can promise you that there is little better in the world than sharing the magic of Walt Disney World with grandchildren! I too love to buy our Disney Gift Cards at a discount. Recently, the Disney Gift Card site added a feature where you can combine the cards you purchase onto one card so you don't need to carry or deal with multiple cards. However, the highest limit you can combine to is $1,000. And, while you can use a Disney Gift Card to purchase park tickets online, you can only use a single card per each transaction. For that reason, I think it is easier to call Disney directly when purchasing admission tickets with gift cards. A cast member will be happy to take your gift card information and handle the purchase for you. Don't forget to connect your ticket to your My Disney Experience account. With My Disney Experience you can book your FastPass+ selections in advance and keep all of your vacation information in one place.

Have fun planning and if you have more questions, come on back to the Panel- we love to help!

    See ya real soon,

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother.  One of my favorite things to do is to travel with multi-generational groups. I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
