I’m so excited that you’re going to be taking your grandchildren to the Walt Disney World Resort. What a special memory and a guaranteed win for the Grandparent of the Year Award! One of my favorite things about the resort is how many attractions can be experienced with the entire family. Of course, Magic Kingdom Park has the most attractions with no height limit, but really, these types of experiences are all around the parks. It truly is the embodiment of Walt Disney’s dream of a place where Guests of all ages can enjoy fun together.
Every adventure requires a first step, and often that starts with picking the best Disney Resorts Collection Hotel for your group. When you are with young children, location, location, location is the most important factor in choosing a resort. Because of this, I typically recommend
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort,
Disney’s Contemporary Resort, or
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. These three are on the
monorail line, giving you the easiest and quickest access to
Magic Kingdom Park. You can also use the monorail system to get to EPCOT. My next recommendation is the resorts on the
Disney Skyliner route:
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort,
Disney’s Pop Century Resort,
Disney’s Riviera Resort, and
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. This gives you quick and easy access to
Disney’s Hollywood Studios and
