    Hi we are bringing our two grandchildren (boy 8 and girl 6) to DW staying POR June 12-15 was hoping to get some help on how best to plan our stay.We want to go to Mk HS and Epcot also Waterparks plus possibly DTD and some time at the Resort.Thank You.

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

    I think you made a great choice in resorts.  Port Orleans Riverside is my favorite Disney Moderate Resort.  Be sure to take the boat to Downtown Disney.  It is fun and relaxing, especially at night.

    To help plan your itinerary, I suggest visiting the independent website TouringPlans.com.  That's the website for the research team behind the tour book "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World".  They are famous in the Disney fan community for producing a crowd calendar that predicts the crowd levels on specific days in specific parks.  For each day, they recommend the parks to visit and the parks to avoid.  You can use that information to help plan your trip.  A small subscription fee is needed to access all of the information on the site, but I highly recommend it.  Their recommendations are based on years of data collection and a lot of math!  As an engineer, I'm a huge fan of their work.
