I am bringing my two girls for a week in March to celebrate their SWEET 16! Any special activities for girls this age to make it memorable??

    Hi Shannon,

I've traveled with teens to Walt Disney World on numerous occasions and there are so many great ways to celebrate your daughters' sweet sixteen!  Here are just a few:

    1. Plan an afternoon at the spa.  You'll see at www.relaxedyet.com that the Spa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort has a wide variety of treatments that would appeal to teenage girls.  And perhaps you'd like to join them too!

    2.  Rent a private watercraft by calling (407) WDW-PLAY.  Then you could celebrate that special birthday on the Seven Seas Lagoon while watching Wishes erupt above Cinderella Castle.  I guarantee that's a celebration your daughters will not soon forget.

    3.  Take your daughters out to a lovely signature dining experience.  Is there a special type of food they enjoy?  If so, let us know and we'll recommend a specific restaurant for your celebration.  Custom made birthday cakes can be presented at the end of your meal if you plan ahead and call (407) 827-2253.

    4.  Be sure to stop by the Guest Services desk at any Disney theme park to pick up free birthday buttons.  You'll be amazed at the special treatment and good wishes your daughters will receive when they wear these buttons.

    5.  Book a Segway tour for your daughters.  It's a great way to celebrate turning 16 since you must be at least 16 to participate in these exciting tours.

Let us know if you need more suggestions, Shannon!  We've got plenty.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
