I am bringing my son to Walt Disney World for his 3rd birthday. His favorite Disney characters are the Toy Story, Cars and Finding Nemo characters. What types of things would I be able to find there for him?

The search is on! Check your Times Guides for the current schedule and locations.

    Toy Story
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and Woody greet guests at Al’s Toy Barn. The Green Army Men sometimes appear.

In the Magic Kingdom, you’ll find Woody’s Cowboy Camp. This hoedown takes place in Frontierland and is not published in your Times Guide so check out pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/ before your vacation. Buzz Lightyear makes appearances near the Carousel of Progress.

The Cars roll out at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Cruise on over to see Lightning McQueen and Mater. Arrive early and ask a Cast Member where the line will form. You’ll hear the cars before you see them. For a great picture, have your son "wash" Lightning McQueen.

    Finding Nemo
Head to Epcot’s The Seas with Nemo and Friends to enjoy marine life. Nemo and Coral sometimes appear outside the Living Seas.

Enter the pavilion and board moving clam shells on an adventure to help find Nemo. This is a cute, gentle ride. If your son doesn't like rides, you can bypass it and go directly to the exhibits.

Turtle Talk with Crush is a Must See interactive show. Kids sit up front on the floor (parents may join them). The awesome surfer dude converses with guests and the conversations are hilarious.

Bruce’s Sub House is a cool play area where kids manipulate hands-on exhibits. Explore the aquarium and check out the Can You Find Nemo? Exhibit.

Next, you’ll want to see Finding Nemo - The Musical in Animal Kingdom presented in the enclosed Theater in the Wild. This under the sea show is wonderful.

I hope your son has a magical birthday at WDW!
