I am bringing my son to stay at the Poly club level to celebrate his high school graduation. This is our 4th year staying there. I heard they have remodeled the room since we were there last May. Is this true? I think you are all wonderful.

    Hi Sheri!

    Actually, I should probably say.....ALHOA!

I was so excited to see your question because my family and I love staying in the club level rooms at Disney's Polynesian Resort. In fact, we'll be spending our spring vacation there in just a few short days!!

I've got some good news for you! There are some renovations in progress at Disney's Polynesian Resort, so the rumors you've heard are true. The construction has been going on for the past couple of months and the Hawaii longhouse (where the club level rooms are located) was one of the first longhouses to be completed.

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

Since you're a veteran of the club level rooms at Disney's Polynesian Resort, then it's clear that you've already seen how wonderful the cast members are that work in that longhouse. When they're not busy helping other guests, I love to hang out and chat with them. The cast members in the office (especially Cathy, Nina, Barbara, and Lawrence) are super cool people.

One of the "mousekeepers" even remembers everyone's name in my family when we see her for the first time during our vacations. Her name is Emina, so please tell her that I said hello if you see her! (She's such a sweetheart!)

So, my tip for you is to feel welcome to hang out and get to know the amazing cast members that will be helping to make your visit so special. I'm so proud to call those wonderful people my friends and I hope you will too.

If you should have any other questions about my absolute favorite resort hotel in the world (or anything else related to Walt Disney World for that matter), please feel free to let me know and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Mahalo!

    Best regards,
    Derek
