We are bringing our son (14 months) to Disney for the first time and thought he would enjoy going to one of the water parks, because he LOVES water. Can you tell me which water park has a better splash pad areas or is more young toddler friendly?

    Hey Jennifer,

If your son is anything like my little ones, he'll love splashing around at either of Disney's water parks. My kids are still young and prefer the splash areas over the "big kid" slides. For that reason, we prefer Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Ketchakiddee Creek is tons of fun, with lots of room to splash an play. There are mini slides and a great waterfall. As a parent, I prefer Typhoon Lagoon because there are lots of shaded spots and it has a more serene feeling. It's our favorite water park!

Please let us know if you have any other questions, Jennifer. We'd love to help you make your son's first Walt Disney World vacation as magical as possible.

    Have a Disney day,
