Bringing a party of eight in March 2019 for my daughters sweet sixteen birthday. The six girls all want to be in one room or adjoining rooms. A deluxe villa is out of my price range. Any family suites and regular rooms together? Suggestions?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Gloria! A very happy birthday to your daughter and a Mad Hatter style UNbirthday to you as you plan her big day! There are two options for a six-person room I think your group will be happy to reside in.

I recently stayed with 5 other girlfriends in a family suite at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. Being Lightning McQueen fans, we stayed in a CARS suite and I ADORED the “car wash” shower! The suite comes with a queen bedroom, an extremely comfortable pull out sofa, and full Murphy Bed hidden inside the table. There are also 2 full bathrooms with plenty of storage so it’s easy for all 6 girls to get ready in the morning. You’ll find 2 TVs, a coffee maker, microwave, hanging racks and more. As a value plus Resort, it also fits into a budget nicely, too. In this same Resort, you’ll also find Little Mermaid rooms, where you can request adjoining rooms, but this is never 100% guaranteed. Cast Members will do everything in their power to help out, but I think booking a family suite in the CARS, Nemo or Lion King buildings will add an immense amount of magic to your stay! You and your spouse can easily book a Mermaid room for yourself to be close by, if you like. Alternately, if your daughter loves horses and a Woody cowboy style, the plush Cabins at Fort Wilderness offer serene accommodations for 6 with a fully furnished private cabin in the woods. Of course, the general store, lobby, restaurants and boat/bus transportation offer all the convenient amenities of a Resort Hotel, but in the most fun setting at a suite-like price.

If I can help you find more birthday fun for your party guests, please let me know. I have lots of ideas for your sweet 16! ~ Lindsey P.
