How ya doin' Peter, and welcome back to planDisney!
Getting those little ones down for a nap can be the saving grace for good vibes on a park day. I want to first start out by saying that if you're staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, take those babies back to the resort for a break. While it can feel good to go, go, go, sometimes a rest at the resort and even a little shower and change of clothes during a hot time like September can keep you running so much longer into the evening.
If you really want to find a more mellow space to try to encourage that nap, The Morocco Pavilion in
EPCOT usually has some quiet, tucked away spots, My favorite little seating area on the back side of the Tree of Life in
Animal Kingdom is a great place for everyone to take a siesta and near some pretty good snacks for you grown ups to enjoy. In
Hollywood Studios sit in the shade at Fairfax Fare eat a meal and recharge for a bit. And in
Magic Kingdom, the seating area behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe has a calm vibe. But even with all that, wearing those toddlers out is probably the best tip I can offer you. The reality of little people in the parks is that they're more than likely going to nap in that stroller without any help from you. By the time they've done all sorts of character meet and greets, attractions, parades, and cavalcades, a little rocking and they'll probably fall out even if the Main Street Philharmonic comes marching right past them. My goddaughter would get some of her best rest in her rented Disney stroller and then keep up with the grown ups later than expected.
Pro-tip:
Baby Care Centers are located at each of the 4 parks for your convenience if true quiet time is what you need. You can purchase any items that your smallest travelers may need as well as a little air conditioning and recalibration for those little ones.
Peter, enjoy these magical moments with your precious babies. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat!Happy planning!
