We are bringing my mother in law with us on our next trip in Dec. She needs to rent a scooter. I have seen services drop off scooters before. Is there a service you recommend that is cheaper than renting at the parks?

    Hi Tracy,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  I have found that renting a ECV for the duration of your stay is significantly cheaper as well as more convenient than renting a scooter daily at Walt Disney World Resort.  With a longer term rental, guests are able to take the ECV with them, whereas if you rent an ECV from a theme park it must stay in that location, unless you purchase a multi-park ECV rental. Disney does recommend several rental companies that will drop off and pick up ECV's at your Walt Disney World Resort.  I have used Apple Scooters and Buena Vista Scooter Rentals for members of my family and have been 100% satisfied with the service and pricing.  Be sure to take a look at Guests with Mobility Disabilities on the Walt Disney World Website.  Here you will also be able to look at all of the Disney approved ECV rental companies.  Furthermore, this page has a great deal of information that will be beneficial for your family!

If you have any other questions, please let me know.  I would be happy to help!
