Hi there, Janet!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR that you will soon be visiting Walt Disney World Resort AND bringing a little Mouseketeer with you! That will be so memorable – and while the little one won’t remember it, you certainly will! Some of my best memories are of visits to the theme parks with my guys when they were itty bitty and seeing the looks on their faces when they saw all the magic that comes with a visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
Theme park visits with a nine-month old definitely call for a stroller...and naps! Unfortunately, the
strollers available to rent at the theme parks are made of molded plastic and do not recline. They do have a sunshade, cupholders and a pocket for storage which is handy, but since they do not recline, I am not so sure they are the best fit for napping. While I cannot show you a picture of one, if you do a quick search online, I know a number of pictures will pop up showing you exactly what they look like!
If you do plan on the little one snoozing while at the theme parks, I would recommend either renting a reclining stroller from an outside vendor or bringing one with you from home. If you do bring one from home, make sure that it fits within the stroller size requirements as specified in the
park rules. Another reason you may want to consider bringing one with you from home is for use at the airport, if you are traveling to Orlando via airplane. We always found it very handy to secure our littles into strollers while navigating the airport.
If you haven’t yet purchased Memory Maker and linked it to your reservation, I highly recommend doing so! These memories will be so very special and having
Memory Maker ensures that each and every one of them make their way home with you! And how fun will it be to look back at all the fun you had on this vacation with that little Mouseketeer in a few years?!?!
Wishing you a magical and MEMORABLE vacation!
Stephanie
