Bringing my mom in April '11 for her first disney visit (my third). She asked about the Backstage Magic Tour. Am wondering if it would be best to do this at the beginning or end of our vacation? Thanks and have a Pixie Dusted Day!!

    Hi Kimberly!

I absolutely ADORE the tours!  My husband and I have been on several and have NEVER been disappointed  We've enjoyed them immensely!  I'd actually suggest that you do the tour in the middle of your vacation...here's why...

Since it is your Mom's first visit, I think it would be great for her to experience it as a regular guest, before she hears any of the secrets...it might actually spark some thoughts about questions for the tour.  Then, a couple days in...take the tour.  It will leave you time to go back and explore the park with your new found knowledge and trivia.  SO MUCH FUN!!

For me, even being the Disney nut that I am, the tours fostered a deeper respect for Walt Disney World and the magic behind the scenes.

I hope you have a MAGICAL vacation!
