We are bringing my 14 mo old daughter to Disney for her first trip in February. We are wondering if we should save money by using the buses for transportation. Or is it worth the extra money to rent a car for more flexibility with nap times?

    Hi Anne!

Wow, it is so awesome that you are bringing your young daughter to Walt Disney World for her first visit!  I really love using the Walt Disney World Transportation System because Disney does the driving for you and it is one less thing to think about when you are on vacation.  Typically, in the middle of the day (at the time that your daughter would need a nap) the buses and other modes of transportation are less busy because most people are at the parks so you should have no issues finding a seat.  At the park opening and closing, which are busier times, you probably will have to wait longer and may have to stand on the buses.  If you do not plan on staying until park closing, then I believe that you could only use Disney Transportation and save some money.  A rental car car does provide a little more flexibility for you, but you will have to consider the cost of the rental car in your decision.  I have used a rental car and the Walt Disney World Transportation System on my Walt Disney World vacations and I really prefer using the Walt Disney World Transportation System so that I can relax and not have to think about directions to where I am going.

I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation with your family is magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
