Hi I am bringing my 15 mo daughter for her first Disney trip and Hair cut at Harmony. I was wondering if you do make an appointment for the hair cut, are they usually on time? How long does the process take and are there Photopass photographers available?

    Hi Mindi,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! My little guy had his first haircut at Harmony Barber Shop and it truly was a magical experience. Those pictures are some of my most precious vacation memories!

Yes, you absolutely do need to make an appointment in order to get your daughter’s hair cut there. Based on my experience, they’re typically running on time, so you shouldn’t have much of a wait.

As for a Disney PhotoPass photographer, from what I understand, the barber shop doesn’t have a dedicated photographer. That being said, I’ve done some digging and, if you check in early for your appointment, you can request that a photographer be present for your little one’s hair cut and the Cast Members may be able to make that magic happen for you, based on availability. It never hurts to ask!

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming visit to Magic Kingdom Park. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
