Bringing my MIL and FIL to Disney and thinking about buying them a gift card for Christmas. However, given that the park tickets are already purchased and we're getting the dining plan, do you think they'll really use it?

    Hi Michele!

I think that this is a fabulous idea!  While the bulk of the vacation will be paid for, you will be surprised how many extra expenses pop up.  For instance, maybe your in-laws would enjoy a nice glass of wine before dinner, or perhaps a specialty coffee with their dessert?  Of course, I'm overlooking the most obvious one - souvenirs!  Even if your in-laws don't necessarily want to purchase Mickey boxer shorts or Minnie Mouse earrings, there will be plenty to tempt them.  For instance, the countries found in the World Showcase area of Epcot offer literally thousands of goodies.  I know that I could blow my whole budget in France alone!

Rest assured, your gift card is a thoughtful and very useful gift idea!
