We are bringing our 3 kids, 3,2,and 2 in Sept 2012 for their first trip to WDW. One of our 2yr olds has special needs and cannot sit up on his own. We were wondering if there were rides he could enjoy were he could sit on our laps?

You've chosen a great time to visit, Dana.  My family loves to vacation at Disney in September!  As for your toddler's special needs, rest assured that there are a number of attractions he will be able to experience from the comfort of mom or dad's lap.  Fantasyland offers a wealth of options.  When my son was a baby, he rode on our laps for most of the attractions there.  You don't have to stick to Fantasyland, though; you'll find that all of the theme parks are very accommodating to even the youngest kiddos, offering attractions and shows in which little ones can ride/sit on a lap if they need to.  When in doubt, just ask the Cast Member at the attraction entrance and he or she will be able to provide information specific to the attraction.  I hope you have a great trip!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
