Bringing my 3 kids 8, 6 & 4 for their first trip to DW. We've been to Disneyland many times and have seen Fantasmic there. Is the Fantiasmic show at DHS the same show or something different?

    Hi Connie,

Fantasmic! is very similar at both parks; however, there are a few subtle changes.  For example, instead of the large sword fight between Peter Pan and the pirates off of the sailing ship Columbia, the Hollywood Studios version features a battle from Pocahontas.  There are also more villains highlighted in the show at Walt Disney World.

The storyline is the same.  The show begins with a look into Mickey's imagination until the Wicked Queen from Snow White summons her magic mirror.  Infamous Disney Villains make appearances, and ultimately Mickey has to fight off the fire-breathing Maleficent.

Both shows are great, but there isn't a huge difference.  So, if it's convenient for you to see, check it out.  However, it only plays on select nights, so don't change your entire schedule around to accommodate it.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
