Howdy, Kris!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney! How exciting that you are bringing students to Walt Disney World Resort. I am sure all of you will have an amazing time as not only are there so many magical experiences to be had but there are also a lot of educational activities at Walt Disney World Resort. My personal favorite is learning about countries and cultures around the world in EPCOT. I am sure you will all have such wonderful memories of this occasion. Now let's talk planning.
If you are planning an adventure that will require 10 or more Disney Resort Collection hotel rooms or suites, you will want to speak to a helpful Cast Member in
Group Reservations by phone. They are best able to help you secure the accommodations and discuss any room promotions or discounts that could apply.
Now, should you need fewer than 10 rooms, the Group Reservation wouldn't apply. But Hakuna Matata! It means no worries. There are a few promotions running on
select rooms for spring and early summer this year, as well as current deals on Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Packages which can be found on the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page. These promotions are subject to change, but they may be just what you need for your booking.
If you need any larger gathering spaces for your group for dining or celebrating a special milestone, the
Disney Meetings & Events team can help you set that up. Whether it is celebrating an accomplishment, birthday, or just catering for your party, this expert team will help you with what you need. Just submit the online request form and a Cast Member will get back to you shortly.
For any additional needs you may have for your large group, especially if you aren't needing the 10 rooms,
Guest Services can help you with details like purchasing theme park tickets, and anything else you need to ensure you have a bit of pixie dust by your side with your planning.
I should mention that, unfortunately, there isn't theme park ticket pricing specific for teachers or chaperones. Also, note that everyone in your party will need BOTH a valid
theme park ticket AND
a theme park reservation in order to enter the theme parks. You will need to purchase the tickets first, but I recommend making the theme park reservations as soon as you purchase your tickets as reservations can fill up.
I hope your group adventure is memorable, magical, and fulfills all of your wishes. If I can help you any further with your vacation planning questions, stop back and
see me here. I'll be glad to help you.
See ya real soon!
