Hiya, Coleen!
Welcome back to planDisney, friend! It sounds as if you are planning quite the adventure at Walt Disney World Resort next year. I am sure your entire travel party is excited to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth. Let's go over dining reservations for large groups so that you can get back to planning the best trip ever!
There are a few options when it comes to securing a spot for a group of 20. The first can be done online if your party is able to sit at two (or more tables) during your meals. You can
book tables of ten online 60 days prior to your arrival. The reservation booking window opens early (traditionally around 5:45 AM ET), so set that alarm! Should separate tables be an option, you can make the reservations online, or through the
My Disney Experience app. You can also ask to have the tables near each other by speaking with the Cast Member at the host stand when you arrive at the restaurant. While this is not a guarantee, you can absolutely request this option.
Should you prefer to have the entire group together during your dining, I suggest reaching out to the Disney Dining team by phone when your reservation window opens. They may be able to help you secure those larger tables. You can reach them at (407)-WDW-DINE (or 407-939-3463). You can also work with the
Disney Meetings & Events Team to create personalized gatherings for the whole crew. Simply fill out
an online request form to get started. A Cast Member will reach out to you in just a few business days.
Before signing off I have one last tip for traveling with students. Be sure to check out
Disney Imagination Campus as you continue your planning. You can create personalized field trips,
find fabulous workshops for students to attend, and select tickets for experiences at student group rates. You can even
create accommodation reservations for students through this site if you have not already crossed this off of your magical to-do list!
I hope that your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
