Hi there, Lance, and welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you have quite the busy adventure ahead of you. I’m a teacher myself and I understand what it’s like to lead a group of teens. Let me tell you, there are tons of activities that await your high-schoolers. From the thrills of
TRON Lightcycle / Run to the out-of-this world nighttime spectaculars, they won’t have a dull moment. And if you want to capture those silly faces on rides like the Haunted Mansion or the magical moments in front of theme park icons like Cinderella Castle? I have good news for you ahead!
As you’ve mentioned, you’ll want to first make sure they are linked on your Family & Friends List. If you have access to
Disney PhotoPass photos via Memory Maker, then you will be able to download the photos of up to 25 linked Guests who share their media with you. That will definitely cover the 13 kiddos in your group.
Once they’ve scanned for their photos with a Disney PhotoPass photographer or at another touch point using their theme park tickets,
Disney MagicMobile device, or Disney MagicBand+, those photos should pop up in the photos section of your
My Disney Experience App. You do not have to be with them as long as you’re linked. From there, you can download the photos as many times as you’d like and then share them with your group.
AN EXTRA GEM: Some attractions will automatically recognize the riders devices when they’re on the ride, so they won’t have to scan at all. For example, I usually get my photos for
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure right after I get out of the log, but I can also scan for the photos right outside of Tiana’s Bayou General store.
Lance, I have a feeling that you and your crew of Mouseketeers are going to have a blast at The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have additional Disney vacation planning questions,
