Tom from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am bringing a group of folks this weekend. I’ve got two children that are purchase tickets on their own in their own app. They will be with me. How can I group up the tickets so that we can get in a virtual queue together?

Hey there, Tom! Welcome to planDisney. We are happy to see that you've stopped by to ask us a question.

It sounds like you have an exciting visit happening soon at The Happiest Place on Earth and a lot to manage. I'm glad to hear you are thinking ahead about wanting to be able to have all the tickets accessible to you for those in your group for reasons like grabbing a virtual queue. I'd be happy to share how you can do this. All you will need to do is get each party member's Ticket ID. If your group member already has their ticket linked to their Disneyland app, it will be the number located under the barcode in the "Ticket and Passes" section. Then you can head to the "Ticket and Passes" section and click the "+" at the top of the screen and tap "Link Tickets & Passes" and add the Ticket ID numbers one at a time. If you are with the Guests, you can also just scan the barcode. They will be able to still have their ticket linked to their account while you also have it on yours.

If you haven't heard yet, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway has stopped using the virtual queue as of this week. The options to experience this attraction are to use the stand-by entrance or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane. This means World of Color is currently the only experience that is utilizing the virtual queue.

I also want to share a helpful tip because you have said you are going with a group. There is a limit on how many tickets you can group into a party to get a virtual queue. That number is 10. This means if you have more than 10 in your group, you will need two people to split up the tickets to link to your accounts to try to get a spot in the virtual queue.

Tom, I hope I was able to share some helpful information with you for this weekend. I hope you and your group are able to have a wonderful visit to Disneyland Resort. See you real soon!
