Hi Angela, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I LOVE that you’ll be traveling to The Most Magical Place on Earth with a group of 35. It’s always so much fun when a big group gets together at Walt Disney World – I hope you’ll having matching t-shirts!
While
Cinderella’s Royal Table does require pre-payment for dining reservations, Guests on the
Disney Dining Plan receive a special wave of the wand from Fairy Godmother and are able to magically waive pre-payment by indicating that they will be paying using Disney Dining Plan entitlements. (Though note that a credit card guarantee is still required, as with all Disney Dining reservations.) When booking online, be sure you are logged in to your
My Disney Experience account, and that your Disney Vacation Package reservation is also linked to the account. You should see a question about using the Disney Dining Plan in the upper right corner of the booking window; when you click that, your prepayment should be waived. If you don’t see this option, my advice is to call (407) WDW-DINE and make the reservation with a Cast Member.
If you or others in your party have already prepaid, please call the same number. A Cast Member will verify that you have the Disney Dining Plan, and should be able to provide a refund. You also have the option of requesting the refund upon arrival at the restaurant if that’s easier.
Angela, have the best time during your fairytale meal with Cinderella and her friends. Enjoy the special storybook moments and really take in the gorgeous details inside the Castle; it’s a truly moving and magical experience.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
