We are bringing a group of 23 (ages 18 months - 18 years) and we would like to know where the best place to celebrate New Year's Eve for teens would be and also the best place for the kids under 10?

Hi Stephanie! It sounds like you are going to have a great group together for New Years at Walt Disney World!  It does make choosing your park for celebrating the new year a bit more difficult with the wide range of ages in the group.

Adults usually enjoy Epcot on this special night as it is hopping and the libations are plentiful. However, with teenagers and younger children in your party I do not recommend this park. It can get very crowded and a bit overwhelming and not necessarily the place for families.  The Magic Kingdom is the family party central location for New Years. It is usually the first park to close due to capacity so be sure you don't wait to enter until late in the day. There is enough in this park to keep all ages happy and there is nothing more magical then celebrating with Mickey and all his friends! The adults will need to realize that there will be no champagne toasts but who needs that when you have some of the most fantastic fireworks shooting off at midnight! Being together is the most important part of the evening and although it will be crowded pick a spot early and enjoy the celebration!
