We are bringing our grandsons, ages 5 and 2 in April. Any suggestions on must see things?

    Hi Kim,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How wonderful of you to plan a trip for your grandsons to the Walt Disney World Resort!

My first suggestion is to book a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. If you stay on property, you will be able to make your Fast Pass+ selections for rides 60 days prior to your trip and you will be able to make dining reservations 180 days prior to your trip for up to 10 days.

Use your dining reservations for character meals so that your grandsons can see their favorite characters without standing in long lines. Some of our favorites are Chef Mickey's, The Crystal Palace, and Tusker House. We have the most fun at The Crystal Palace because what can beat a Pooh-rade in honor of Friendship day?

Magic Kingdom is simply a must-do park. Review the attractions list before you make Fast Pass+ selections. I would definitely suggest that you ride Peter Pan's Flight, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Astro Orbiter, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Mad Tea Party, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Also be sure to climb through the Swiss Family Treehouse. My girls love the bedrooms, especially the one with the hammocks. If your grandsons are in for some adventure, take a log raft over to explore Tom Sawyer Island. Just beware of the caves. One of them is a little spooky! At Animal Kingdom, we love catching a glimpse of the baby elephant on Kilimanjaro's Safaris, watching the acrobats at the Festival of the Lion King show, and riding Na'vi River Journey on Pandora.

Kim, I am sending pixie dust your way to help you plan the most magical trip for your grandsons!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
