    We are bringing our grandson for his 3rd birthday. What special things can we do that are birthday related?

    Hi Jane! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I'm so excited that you get to celebrate your grandson's birthday at "The Most Magical Place on Earth," and I'm sure you are too! It will be here before you know it!

    First, make sure you pick-up a "Happy Birthday" button when you arrive at the theme parks, or from the Front Desk if you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel. In the theme parks, head to Guest Relations to grab one. This is a special way to show you are celebrating his big day and all the Cast Members that notice the button will say their "Happy birthday" wishes as well.

    If you have any dining reservations for your trip, call Disney Dining at (407) 939-1947 and have them note that you are celebrating a birthday, then mention it when you check-in for your reservation, too. We have celebrated MANY occasions at the Walt Disney World Resort and sometimes have found confetti sprinkled on our table at arrival or a small sweet treat at the end of our meals. These special touches aren't guaranteed, but are a wonderful surprise!

    Definitely check out the special birthday offerings from Disney Floral & Gifts. They have some really cute items that would be perfect for your little guy's birthday, including delicious celebration cakes! If you decide to order a cake for delivery, please note that they require at least 24 hours notice.
