We are bringing our granddaughter and her parents to Disneyland and will stay at the Grand Californian. On our last day could we check out but leave our luggage at the hotel until late afternoon or early evening? What is check out time?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Bonnie! I’m so thrilled to hEAR that your getaway to the Disneyland Resort is almost here! Staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is one of my favorite experiences at the Resort. I recently enjoyed spending several days there, and the service was top-notch! As a hotel guest, you’ll receive the perk of Extra Magic Hour every day of your stay, which is an exciting early-admission option. All good things must come to an end, I suppose, so when it’s time to pack up on your last day at the Grand Californian, check-out time is 11:00 AM. And yes, you are welcome to store your luggage with Bell Services if you plan on enjoying the parks before heading home.

You are going to love the exclusive hotel access to Disney California Adventure Park! I find it especially helpful for a midday pool break or nap. Be sure to check out these additional offerings for hotel guests, including a special movie night, Art of Craft Tour, power walk, and The Grand Quest scavenger hunt!

Plus, Downtown Disney District is also adjacent to the hotel, featuring exciting new additions like Ballast Point Brewing Co., Salt & Straw, and Splitsville Luxury Lanes.

Wishing you a magical vacation at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
