Hi there, Lori, and welcome to planDisney!
Visiting the theme parks with your little one is going to be full of core memories. From meeting characters around the Resort to watching fireworks together hand-in-hand, she is going to cherish every moment. Because this won’t be her first trip to Walt Disney World, I’m sure that she’s excited to revisit some of her favorite attractions. I recommend downloading the
My Disney Experience App and exploring it together with her so that you have a plan of action for your big adventure.
First things first, Walt Disney World Resort doesn’t store fingerprints of its Guests. So, once her mother scanned her fingerprint, the information was dumped and a code identifier was left behind. With that being said, because the code is linked to your daughter’s fingerprint, you may run into a minor issue when scanning into the theme parks without her. But Hakuna Matata! That means “no worries.” A friendly Cast Member at the Mickey-shaped entry points can help verify your granddaughter’s
theme park ticket. As long as she has a linked, valid theme park ticket, she will be able to enter the theme park.
Lori, I have a feeling that you and your granddaughter are going to have the Most Magical time. If you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation,
revisit us here at planDisney. I’m all ears!
Magic always,
LeAndra
