Alice,
Happy Birthday to your little Princess! First trips are always so exciting and it sounds like this one is going to be even more special. I am sure you all will have a wonderful and unforgettable family vacation.
When I plan my itinerary, I always like to check the “crowd calendars” that are available. I like having an idea of how busy it may be and also which parks are best to visit on which days. My preferred calendar is easywdw.com which provides some wonderful, detailed information. This site is not an official Disney website, but I find it to be a great tool.
I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble finding an
advance dining reservation for the character dining experience you desire. But, even though you haven’t been able to find what you are looking for, please don’t give up! People change plans and cancel all the time, so check daily and check often. Remember that for Princess character dining experiences, you have three options: Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom park, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at Epcot and Cinderella’s Happily Ever After Dinner at
1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
If you still can’t secure a reservation, don’t hesitate to walk up and ask for availability once you are there. Try getting there early, when the restaurant first opens for lunch or dinner, to better the odds.
Alice, I hope you find this information useful and I really hope you are able to secure your dining reservation. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed!
Happy planning!
