We are bringing our 5 grandchildren to Disney, our daughter is vacation club member and graciously has used her points to reserve a 2 bedroom villa at Old Key West for us, do we have to pay the daily parking fee and do we need to bring membership card

    Hi Bonnie,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

How absolutely wonderful that you'll be enjoying a Walt Disney World vacation with your grandchildren! As a Disney Vacation Club Member, I so appreciate all the benefits and perks of membership. I've always felt that one of the great features of the Disney Vacation Club program is the variety of vacation accommodations — all the unique Resorts and all the different room types — that make a special family stay like yours possible. I really enjoy staying at Disney's Old Key West Resort. While it's not one of our Home Resorts, we have stayed at Disney's Old Key West Resort for a few vacations. I love the laid-back vibe, and we had so much fun hanging out and playing at Sandcastle Pool. Disney Vacation Club Members and Guests of a Member reservation are not charged the overnight parking fee when using their Membership to stay at a Disney Vacation Club Resort, as long as their reservation was booked by Disney Vacation Club Member Services or online at DisneyVacationClub.com. Because you will be noted on the Disney Vacation Club Member reservation as Guests of Disney Vacation Club Members, you will not need to show any proof of the Membership.

Bonnie, you have so much magic awaiting you and your grandchildren when you visit this summer. I'm sure this vacation will provide lots of family memories to cherish.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
