I am bringing my friend to the park on Monday. She is currently undergoing chemo and needs a wheelchair. We haven’t received our disabled parking plaque yet but we need disabled parking. Is there anything you can do to accommodate us?

    Hi Mary,

Welcome to planDisney! I'm sorry that we weren't able to get to your important question sooner, and I hope that you were able to find the information that you needed from a Cast Member.

There is disabled parking available throughout the Disneyland Resort, but according to the parking information on Disney's website, "A valid disabled parking placard or license plate is required." It's always best to talk with a Cast Member directly, though, to see if any accommodations can be made. If they weren't able to allow you to park in the disabled parking section, there are also preferred parking locations available for a small additional fee. Whether she brought her own wheelchair or rented one from DisneyI'm sending pixie dust that you were able to find a safe and convenient location to park so that your fellow Mouseketeer was comfortable.

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Mary, and please feel free to stop by and see us again if you ever have any other Disney-planning questions. I hope you and your friend had a truly magical visit together and made lots of special memories during your Disneyland Resort adventure!
