Marilyn from NJ Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am bringing my family of 12 to WDW January 31 - February 4 to celebrate my 75th birthday. We would like to do something special on February 2. Please send me information on VIP activities. Fireworks, boats, tours, dinners, etc.

    Hi Marilyn!

Welcome to planDisney! What an exciting way to spend a milestone birthday! It’s wonderful you can gather your family for a magical vacation together.

A Private VIP Tour will guide your party through the theme parks, including Lightning Lane access to attractions if available. Current pricing ranges from $450 to $900 per hour, for a minimum of 7 hours, and theme park admission is not included in the price of the tour. Your party can include up to 10 Guests, including infants, so your group of 12 Guests will require two tour guides.

There are other tour options in each of the theme parks, like the Keys to the Kingdom Tour in Magic Kingdom. This is a 5-hour walking tour about Magic Kingdom, including lunch and some backstage access. Guests must be 16 years or older for this tour. When I was checking availability for this tour, the website would only allow me to make a reservation for 10 Guests, so you would need to make this reservation in two transactions for your party, or perhaps call the “Tours and Recreation” phone number for assistance from a Cast Member. EPCOT also has the Behind the Seeds Tour, and Animal Kingdom has several tours that give you a closer look at the animals living there, like elephants and rhinos

Fireworks Cruises are a wonderful way to view Happily Ever After or Luminous. I’ve enjoyed several cruises myself! These cruises also have a limit of 10 Guests, so your party would require two boat reservations. I’ve been part of a group that required several boat reservations, and the Cast Members did their best to keep our boats safely near each other. We all had a great time, but it wasn’t really possible to have a conversation between boats.

I checked out the Dining Availability calendar on the My Disney Experience app, and I was able to filter for a group of 12 Guests. Dining can be booked up to 60 days in advance of your visit, so I wasn’t able to check for February 2026 yet but for 60 days from today, I saw several restaurants that had room for 12. You can also reach out to Walt Disney World to plan a private dining event for your group, as there are several dining locations that have private dining rooms

Check out the Enchanting Extras Collection to see if any other activities interest your party, Marilyn! I hope I gave you a good starting point to begin planning your birthday celebration. If you have any more questions as you continue planning, please send your questions to planDisney!
