Hi all! I am bringing my family to DW 8/25-8/30. My husband wants to do at least one water park and skip Epcot but I want to do both. Our kids are 18m and 7yr. Should we still go to Epcot or can it be missed? Also, which water park do you recommend? Thanks

Hi Alison!  This is not an unusual battle in a family when it comes to Epcot. So many guests feel it is strictly for the older crowd but it really isn't. There are tons of things to see and do in this park for our younger guests.

My grandson is six and here is the list of must do's for him:

    Turtle Talk With Crush

Seas with Nemo ride and everything inside pavilion to see and do

Imagination ride and interactive area after

    The Land Boat ride

    Soarin (height restriction)

Test Track (height restriction plus this ride is down for refurbishment for a few months)

Spaceship Earth and interactive area after

Innoventions-he could and would spend hours in these buildings if we let him!

Best character meet and greet on property where you can see the fabulous five!

    Mexico boat ride

    Norway boat ride

Entertainment around American Adventure pavilion (fife and drum group etc)

Sometimes Energy although this attraction is long

    Sometimes 3D movie at Imagination

As you can see the list is quite long that we enjoy with our grandson.

As far as water parks go I suggest Blizzard Beach with your kids. There are great areas where even the youngest one will find small slides and water activities to keep happy.  I love the lazy river as well and you can get the small inner tubes with the bottoms for the 18 month child.
