I am bringing 5 to disney (kids 5,10,11). Staying off grounds, but want to know roughly what to budget for food at the park/day. Planning only 1 breakfast (character), most quick meal lunches, & sit down dinners there(1-2 nice, not signature though).

    Hi Lisa,

I understand your need to plan, which landed me here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for your question and I'll be happy to help you navigate your dining budget.

My best advice to you, Lisa, is to check out the site allears.net. There is a wealth of information, including current prices of each menu throughout Walt Disney World. Though prices are always subject to change, viewing the menus will provide you a great start in determining your family's food costs based on dining habits.

Don't forget to add in a snack budget, as one cannot visit Walt Disney World without an iconic Dole Whip. You'll find the current prices under the "Aloha Isle" menu link on allears.net.

Be sure to book your Advanced Dining Reservations ahead of time for table service meals or Character Dining, either online, or by calling (407) WDW-DINE (407) 939-3463.

Wishing you much PIXIE DUST as you plan your magical vacation, Lisa!
