Bringing my 7 & 11 yo DDs for their 1st visit in Oct. Leaning to Akershus & 1900 Park Fair (don't see much info on this)for character meals. Will we miss out if we don't do Chef M's or Cinderella's RT? They're more into princesses than Mickey, Dona

    Hi Karla!

We have done Akershus & 1900 Park Fare but never done Chef Mickey's or Cindrella's Royal Table! (Well, I've done the castle, but my kids haven't!) So, I think I can answer your question!

If your girls are into Princesses, they will get their FILL at Akershus. When you arrive in Norway, they make a proclamation for the royal family to enter and you are greeted by Belle! You get your picture taken with her and then are led to your own table for a meal that is part buffet and part family style. I had breakfast there and it was fabulous (eggs, bacon, cheesey potatoes!). During the meal 4 other Princesses greet you--we saw Ariel, Princess Aurora, Snow White and Cinderella. You leave with a photo of you and Belle--it's included in your meal! My 5 year old was in absolute Princess heaven!

1900 Park Fare was less-Princess-ish for breakfast. We saw the Mad Hatter, Alice, Mary Poppins, Tigger and Pooh. At dinner though, Tigger and Pooh aren't there but Cinderella and Prince Charming usually show up. So, it is full of royalty!

I don't think you'll be missing out on anything if you go to Akershus and 1900 Park Fare. I think your girls will have a magical time!
