    I am bringing my daughters to celebrate their 18th and 21st birthday in mid December. We've been before but never over Christmas. What would be a good celebration to take them to? does disney do anything special for birthday celebrations? thanks

    Hi Diane!  Walt Disney World is a wonderful place to celebrate with your girls! 

    Christmas is such a fun time to visit Walt Disney World.  Select nights in December there is a special celebration that takes place in the evenings at Magic Kingdom.  Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a hard ticket event which mean you will need a special ticket to be able to get inside the Magic Kingdom for the party.  During Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party you can enjoy complimentary cookies and hot cocoa while strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. watching the snow fall.  There are also special character meet and greets throughout the night along with some really fun dance parties.  You will also be able to catch a special holiday parade and a beautiful holiday fireworks show.  It is a great party! 

    Make sure to get your daughters a special "It's My Birthday" button from your resort concierge or guest services at any of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.  Your girls will receive so many "Happy Birthday" comments and you may even receive a special desert at dinner!  You never know what is going to happen with Disney magic! 

    Something special you might be interested in is an Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  Afternoon Tea takes place daily between 2-5 p.m.  It is a really fun way to celebrate something special.  I have such good memories of celebrating over a cup of tea!

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
