I will be bringing my daughters ages 13, 9 and 6 to Disney January 4-9th - we have 5 day tickets. This will be their first trip to Disney - which parks, attractions, shows must we definitely NOT miss?

    Hi Melissa!

You are visiting during a great time.  The crowds should be low to medium if 2013 is like recent previous years.

You should definitely order a free planing DVD.  You can find the link on the main Walt Disney World website.  I also suggest picking up a good tour to give you general guidance in planning your trip.  Since you are a first time visitor, I recommend picking up the book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal or "PassPorter Walt Disney World" by Jennifer and Dave Marx.  Both are great books for first time visitors, because they are full of information and tips but are not overwhelming.  You would get a good feel for everything there is to do at Walt Disney World from either book.  "The Complete Walt Disney World" is also a very beautiful book, full of color photographs.

Be sure to make Advance Dining Reservations as soon as possible.  They are critical for any Table Service (full service) restaurants you want to dine in.  ADRs can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

    Must See attractions include:
    • Space Mountain in the Magic Kingdom
    • Toy Story Midway Mania in Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Pirates of the Caribbean in the Magic Kingdom
    • Soarin' in Epcot
    • Test Track in Epcot
    • Haunted Mansion in the Magic Kingdom
    • Finding Nemo the Musical in Disney's Animal Kingdom
    • Turtle Talk with Crush in Epcot
    • Great Movie Ride in Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Tower of Terror in Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Journey of the Little Mermaid in the Magic Kingdom
    • Festival of the Lion King in Disney's Animal Kingdom
Our responses are limited in length, but I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
